It’s the Labor Day long weekend ! Happy Saturdays means spending time with the grandparents and soft serve ice creams. I have a fondness of soft serves because my ah Pa and I used to eat them together all the time. It’s nice to see him enjoying ice cream with my daughters.
Every year I let Saitaoha choose how she wants to celebrate her birthday with her cousins. This year she asked to go roller skating. I’m pleased to say I tried out my new roller blades too, I was terrible but at least I gave it a go. I think we will go for a family class this year, at least once !

We had Vietnamese for lunch, we really wanted chicken rice but they were packed so Vietnamese it was. It turned out to be a pretty good choice in the end, the restaurant was comfortable and the food was not bad. It was just nice to hang out with my family.
We had pasta in the Valley for Saitaoha’s family birthday dinner. I’ve been wanting to bring my family there since I visited during Father’s Day last year.

She loved all of her birthday presents! Lucky girl was thrilled with all her presents this year, she’s so loved and spoilt.
