Day 2 in London was bright and sunny. Again there was no sign of London grey skies, instead, we spotted a neighbour sunbaking in her backyard.
Jo and I seemed to have gotten over any lingering jetlag and woke up early in the morning. Baby wasn’t awake yet so no baby to play with. We made do with our favourite childhood cereal of Golden Grahams (not sold in Perth:( ). I don’t know what it is about these square honey coated cereal, they’re addictive and Jo and I love them so much. We gave out sighs of contentment after draining our bowls. I think it’s because we only got to eat golden grahams whenever my sister Jan brought them over from Singapore or when we went to Singapore for a holiday. Golden Grahams are special treats only to be had for limited periods, and they’re so yummy too.
I couldn’t help taking a photo of crustless bread that is sold in Sainsbury here. I think the saying should be changed to ‘the best thing since sliced crustless bread’.
Shopping at Kingston upon Thames, an ancient market town and suburb located in Southwest London. Lovely picturesque suburb.
Pretty flowers for sale.
Time for brunch at The Terrace. This eatery was buzzing with people and boasts a wide range of paninis and sandwiches.
My first coffee in London! It wasn’t bad at all, especially nice because all my sisters were right next to me 🙂
Jo has a penchant for crayfish sandwiches in London (you will see more featured in the future I’m sure) and she liked this one from The Terrace, even though she has a favourite from another eatery in Croydon. This baguette cost around £4-5.
My Parisian baguette that included bacon, brie, tomato and chutney. It was very tasty especially the baguette which had a lovely texture to it.
Andy’s Italian grilled panini with parma ham and sundried tomatoes. This was nice too.
My sister took this picture of the interior of the cafe, we were on the second floor which was bright and cosy.
Icecream for dessert anyone? I shall try some soft serve icrecream from one of these vans one day.
6a – 7 apple market

Kaka picture of the day : sharing a happy moment with her daddy, Andy was showing Kaka her picture on his phone and she was very amused.
Day 3 beginning soon, I’m back in the kitchen!
