Foochow Cha Chu Mee

The theme for this Sunday’s family dinner was Foochow Cha Chu Mee, a soupy fried noodle that is popular amongst Foochows, I know my dad orders this a lot. It was nice to let someone take over the stove for a change and this is R’s contribution.

Verdict, very tasty although it lacked that distinct foodchow chinese┬áred wine taste since we can’t find red wine in Perth! Which got me thinking that I should try making my own here. Will go hunting for the ingredients next weekend, hopefully I will have recovered from this dreadful cough by then. Wish me luck!
